It’s Friday!

The kids are really excited they have tomorrow off!  They are loving school, but by Wednesday afternoon, Bailey was asking when is Saturday gonna be here?  They have had no problem getting up in the morning.  I haven’t had to wake them up and they are getting up about 6 (bailey) and 630(savana)…..probably because they are asleep by 715pm!  Everyday I can’t wait to hear their stories after school. On Monday, here was a conversation with Bailey:

B: Mom, you know that girl that cries everyday? (sigh)

Me: Yes, honey she just misses her mommy.

B:  Well she didn’t cry until music today!

Poor Bailey is sick of hearing all the kids cry….HA! 

On Wednesday, it was Savana’s turn:

S: I didn’t get to finish lunch today

Me: Why not?

S: Because the teacher sets a timer and I ran out of time.

Me: Were you talking?

S: No, she doesn’t give us enough time 

(lunch is 11-11:30)

Me: I think she does

S: I didn’t eat all my sandwich, but I ate my cookies, because time was running out and I had to eat my dessert!

That is so Savana!!!  HA!

Tshirt Day….It’s Friday!

This was the day both kids wanted to take a million pictures.  I thought we’d never get to leave for school, but they turned out good.    

Bailey FINALLY brings home the stuff he has been doing at school….a week later:)My favorite place to go is recess!

Bailey’s teacher called me last night and told me how smart Bailey is.  He pays attention when she is at the smartboard and is very well behaved.  Woohoo!  She said she loves that he is in her class.  I’m so glad he is doing well!

2nd day of school!

No I will not take pictures everyday

No I will not tell y’all about it everyday

But

Yes today I will!!!

At 6:40 Bay walks into my bathroom, where I’m getting ready, wanting to watch TV….he needs TV…..So I tell him to brush his teeth and he can watch TV until 7:00.

At 6:45 Savana enters the bathroom, well actually her crazy hair enters in before she does!  ha!  And says I’m ready to go to school today!

I’m so glad they woke up on their own.  So while I was getting lunches and breakfast ready, I keep telling them to brush their teeth, get dressed, get their shoes on…etc…..

It’s 7:11, I have enlisted Adam’s help…

It’s 7:20 still not ready and still have breakfast to eat….UGH!!!!!!  HURRY!!!!

At 7:30 we walk out the door, breakfast was eaten, but no television was watched.  He brushed his teeth for 15 minutes!!!  and he doesn’t even have any teeth!!

But we made it on time and he is looking forward to watching some tv when we get home today.

After school on the 1st day

The kids were tired by 4:30 when we picked them up.  They had lots of fun!  Here are some pictures with their friends:

Conversation between Savana & me:

Me: Did you see Bubba at school?

S: yes twice, once in Fine Arts and once at recess

Me: who did you play with at recess?

S: bubba (like duh!)

I guess I should have known they would play together. But they were just fine being away from each other.  The fighting didn’t start until about an hour later….Ha!

We went to Midland to eat dinner so we didn’t get home until 6:30ish.  They played outside for a little while but then it was  bathtime, storytime, & bedtime.  Bailey was not happy that he didn’t get to watch TV AT ALL yesterday.

It’s finally here…..the first day of school!

I wake Bailey up first then go to Savana’s dreading it a little.  Since she hates getting up early.  It’s 6:45.  I whisper Hey princess it’s time to get up.  She opens her eyes, throws back her covers and bounces out of bed saying I’m up and I’m not tired.  Let’s go to school! 

Eating breakfast….Savana didn’t get to finish, cuz that girl was a talking.  He was all into the pictures this morning, he said take a picture of my backpack!
