     Our new bookcases are awesome, but I don’t think they were made to “hold” everything. I had to get rid of those boxes so I just loaded up the shelves.

Tonight we are having girls night at my house, so that motivated me to get the house in order.  I can’t wait for all you Okies to come see it:)

We’ve moved!

We’ve been in our house for a week today…yay!!  And I only have 3 boxes in the kitchen that I haven’t unpacked, so I think I’m doing pretty good.  Of course everything that I did unpack is  propped up against the living room and bedroom walls. Savana’s room is finished, all decorated!  Bailey’s room, I have to touchup his bookshelves that were scratched in the move and then I’ll load those up and be done decorating his room too. They are loving having their own beds/rooms!

Our street is full of kids and Bailey and Savana are determined to meet everyone!!  And with the beautiful 75 degree weather today, we spent most of our day outside playing…yay!!  Even the dogs enjoyed not being couped up in the apartment:)

This one really makes me laugh.  Bailey went behind our house on the drill site…..yes we have a drill site right beside us…it is west texas you know:)  Anyway I heard some crying, my worst fear was a snake, cuz yes we have those too, and I meet him walking back to the house.  I asked him what was wrong and he said he had a wreck and it hurt his leg.  Of course I could see no car in sight.  Walking around the rock piles, I come upon this:

 

I was laughing so hard and poor bailey was telling me it wasn’t funny.  I asked him if he fell out or how he got out and he said he crawled out the door after it had flipped…..later during bathtime, I see his back is covered in scratches.  Poor little boy.  He’s over it now, but way too funny!

Kiddos dancing, which is so hilarious and I need to video an entire song.  Savana ran into the kitchen and said watch this mom, she wrapped her leg around bailey and threw herself backward.   She has watched way too much dancing with the stars!

Today we came across an 18 month outfit Bailey wore, which I kept for his room decoration.  Here’s the results:  Keep in mind 18  month suit!!

We painted Savana’s room “Princess Tiara” , a very light pink, that took 3.5 gallons and 4 coats, it may have some blemishes, but I just had to call it quits at some point.  Savana loves the color and we can’t wait to get all of her fancy stuff in it:)

Then I painted Bailey’s room, which was much quicker.  I stayed with the same color as in Duncan. He is so excited about having his OWN room again!!Mr. Speed Painter

We are moving all of our furniture from the apartment tomorrow and the movers are bringing everything in storage on Monday.  I’m sure to have a million boxes everywhere, but we are so excited to be back into a house:)  And super excited to have all of our friends and family visit us….all you okies better start planning a trip to see us. we miss you guys!
