It’s a Snow Day!!

Last night we heard there was a chance of snow, and laughed because it was very unlikely that would happen.  We went to bed around 11 and I guess around midnight, it was falling pretty fast! At 6:30, I open the back door to let the dogs out and oh my! this is what i see:

School is cancelled!  Yay??  Not really, I had my day planned to cut all 900 lights off my christmas tree because they are no longer working.  The person who put those lights on, seriously wrapped every branch/limb!  Anyway, once the kids were up, I made pancakes bacon and hot chocolate to warm them up, then we bundled up and headed outside for just a little bit……it was 28 degrees!!!

Birthday Celebration #1A

Saturday was Savana’s Strawberry Shortcake birthday celebration with her friends.  She decided she wanted a slumber party……oh my!!  I let her invite 5 friends, here’s how it turned out:

 

First they made their own pizzas. Savana’s had the most cheese….of course:)

Then it was time for Cupcakes!!!  Her favorite….red velvet!

We played a nail polish game, it was fun!  Had to spin to see what color each nail would be painted and the board had  a lose a turn, paint 2 nails, get another spin, etc. The winner got lipgloss! All were winners of course:)

We watched a movie and ate popcorn, then they played some more, we danced, then it was midnight….time for another movie!

Also forgot I had cookies for them to decorate, so we did those real quick.

These girls were hilarious!

Time to play outside!

It was an absolute blast!  The girls were all so sweet, no tears were shed, no fighting!  It was great!
